Splogging: the next get rich quick scheme. I came across this as adventurous and interesting because of the effectiveness of these invaders trying to worm there way in.
These sploggers remind of how a virus comes in contact with a computer. A few clicks here and there and a suspect download or two and you just bought yourself the grief of a computer that runs slower than molasses in the winter time. The difficulty to determine whether the blog spot is real or fake makes me reminisce about the movie Artificial Intelligence where technology was so advanced that it was nearly impossible to determine a human from a robot.
Spam plus anything is trouble, it is easy as cake to contract and nearly impossible to completely wipeout in this case. If it was up to me to diffuse this problem I would try to develop and prevent a program that wipes out and prevents sploggers from invading the blogosphere turf. Just like an anti virus removes spyware, this system would remove all sploggers and their cloneware.
I will never forget this pass July, I was caught up in a heavy downloading frenzy with bit torrent. I downloaded several movies but there was one that left my PC a little present...yep you guessed a virus!
I wonder why certain spam is so difficult to oust. I have countless spam in my school email that wants me to take out car loans and get credit cards. Sometimes I think to myself..hmm.. if I was a spammer why not do research on the people I'm targeting, that way it was stretch further and reach more people because of the "too good to be true, tailor made offers". Bloggers arm yourselves self with a steady mouse, for spam is a just one bad click away!
